Luca Guala

Luca is a transport engineer holding a PhD in transport technique and economics.
He has over 22 years of professional experience. He is currently senior consultant at MIC Mobility in Chain where he deals with issues related with sustainable mobility policies, innovative, driverless transport systems and urban mobility networks. He has undertaken research on the assessment of mobility choices at the University of Cagliari and has worked in the fields of transport of dangerous goods and of the assessment of environmental noise. He worked as consultant and project director for Systematica Srl (Milan, Italy) and Mobility Thinklab (Cagliari, Italy). In 2013 he was employed by the Perm City Project Bureau (Perm, Russia) as Chief Engineer with role in Transport Planning and Design to assist in the implementation of the city’s General Plan, defining the mobility policies and infrastructures.
