MIC is delighted to share its involvement in the Italian Pavilion at the Biennale Architettura 2018. Lead by the curator Mario Cucinella, this year's topic embraces the beauty and complexity of the Arcipelago Italia, country's interior territories, "areas, spatially and temporally distant from the essential service centers, which are holders of a priceless natural and cultural heritage, a factor which, combined with their territorial expansiveness, has led us to consider their revival as a highly strategic topic for our country".
Mario Cucinella and the multidisciplinary team of advisors, among which MIC co-founder Federico Parolotto and Senior consultant Francesca Arcuri, have been working towards the definition of an holistic and consistent evolutionary vision for the Country and the Arcipelago, aiming at bringing these territories, hosting 60% of Italy's land and 25% of its population, back into the focus of nation's priorities through the architectural sign and a future-proved planning effort.
The mobility Vision will project you in the 2050 panorama of new technologies and smart use of infrastructures. For more info visit www.arcipelagoitalia.it
