MIC is delighted to join an international team for the Strategic Comprehensive Transport Development Plan for the City of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Transport Development Plan plays a central role in enabling the city’s success in achieving its sustainability goals.
“Currently, Addis Ababa has the opportunity to leap frog car-dependent transport and adopt multimodal strategies that reduce pollution, energy consumption and congestion, and increase road safety, while achieving economic growth and improving people’s wellbeing. The study of this unique city is a challenging opportunity and we are looking forward to contribute to the development of an innovative Plan" says Kathrin Pinter, Senior Transport Expert and Project Manager at Mobility in Chain.
